ACEnet is currently reaching out to area meat producers to understand the demand and need for kitchen space that will be used for animal breakdown and processing of value-added products.
To create dialogue about this possibility, ACEnet will be hosting a meeting on Tuesday October 27 from 5:30-7:30pm at 94 Columbus Road (Athens campus) to discuss the possibility of providing space for such processing in our commercial kitchen on the Athens campus.
During this time we will be talking about your needs as meat producers, and how ACEnet can help to provide the infrastructure necessary so you will have increased market access. We will also walk through the kitchen to gain a better understanding of the variety of equipment needed for this type of processing.
