Scott Zielinski is currently the Medicaid Services Manager of the Athens County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
Mr. Zielinski was previously the Executive Director of the Athens County Department of Job and Family Services, an agency devoted to assisting low-income Athens County residents through a variety of programs and services.
Previously the Director of the Area 14 Workforce Development Board, an organization charged with the responsibility to procure workforce services, develop policies, and oversee Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) funding for a three-county area (Athens, Meigs and Perry), Mr. Zielinski has spent over 15 years with the Athens County Department of Job and Family Services in multiple roles. These include the supervision of the Ohio Means Jobs – Athens County center (The Work Station), Special Projects Coordinator, and Coordinator of Reentry Services. He currently serves on multiple social service and workforce advisory boards, as well as the Athens County Reentry Task Force and the Athens County Opiate Task Force.
Mr. Zielinski graduated from Ohio University in 2000 with a Bachelors of Arts and resides in The Plains, Ohio with his wife (Amy Beech) and daughter (Riley Zielinski).
