Appalachian Center for Economic Networks (ACEnet) is an active member of the Athens County Reentry Task Force. The Athens County Reentry Program, which is housed at the Ohio Means Jobs - Athens County / The Work Station in The Plains, provides guidance and assistance for ex-offenders who are preparing to leave the prison system, as well as those who have been out of prison for any length of time. In 2017, ACEnet secured a U.S. Small Business Administration Grant to provide small business development training and resources for citizens reentering the workforce following incarceration.
